Our methodology is focused on the practice and action of using the Spanish language for communication from day one. This model of teaching and learning guarantees the satisfaction and good results of students in all areas of communication.

The school has been a federated member of the Spain’s statewide organization FEDELE since 2006.

This membership suppose a compromise to improve the spanish language education in Spain, through the best methodologies, trained teachers, collaborative work and collaboration in official Industry Studies.

• Classes are educational and entertaining. This promotes class participation and cooperation for a safe learning environment. The teachers and staff all have experience and ensure that the students gain confidence with their language skills as well as new vocabulary.

• Classes are fun, interactive and practical with Spanish used constantly in the classroom.

• Emphasis on comprehension, conversation and interaction ALL in Spanish.

• Classes are engaging and use visual materials

• Internet and educational games.

• Small classes (max of 13 students) facilitate close student relationships and personalized teacher attention.

• 15-20 hours of Spanish language classes each week.

• The 5th class each day is a practical experience dedicated to devising a project in Spanish which is presented on Friday afternoon.

• Teachers are native Spanish speakers, experienced university graduates and have been trained to teach Spanish as a foreign language to younger learners using the IH methodology.

• The Director of Studies, in consultation with the Senior Teacher Trainers, develops the academic study program.

• Course completion certificate stating Spanish level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

(*) CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

• Cultural activities are an integral part of the Camp Sol Spain experience, providing the student further exposure to the language and cultural facets of the country.

• Cultural activities are an important part of the experience. You will learn so much by going to classes but you’ll learn just as much, if not more, outside of the classroom. These activities are designed to enhance your experience and show you more of what the site has to offer! Your director will announce the weekly cultural activities every week during your meetings. For summer programs there are 3 cultural activities a week.

The program may change slightly depending on the circumstances of the internal organization of the course, the meteorological conditions and any other circumstances that may complicate the completion of the stated program. The camp administration will communicate any and all changes to participants, as quickly as possible . All activities are supervised by our team of certified professionals and counselors.

 All levels accepted (from Beginner to proficiency /C2) according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

The right level for each student

• Student’s language levels are evaluated upon arrival at all program locations.
• We measure their levels by a written placement exam and/or an oral exam with local professors.
• The language assessment is intended to ensure you get the best Spanish training possible while attending our program.
• A written placement exam may be given prior to your departure overseas also.
• We would like to remind you that the online test is an initial indication of your current Spanish level and is not conclusive.

Camp accommodations held in a campus-based student residence in San Sebastian centre, Spain:

• Fully equipped educational Campus located minutes walking distance from San Sebastian City Centre.
• Surrounded by mountains, beaches and rivers, providing all students the perfect mixture of Nature adventures and City exploring in a safe and controlled environment.
